Great cuts and Really Good Color – I've spent 9 years in Baltimore trying to find a place that can give an excellent cut (one that flows whether I style or not) and subtle color that blends for me (and avoids those awful chemicals. Rachel's cuts at Sprout are the best I've ever had - and I frequently get compliments and requests for her info as I'm out and about. Horrible haircut, awful technique – nice salon, decent hairwash and head massage. horrible haircut. first off my stylist never saw my hair in its dry state. after briefly asking me what i wanted, she sat down behind me and immediately started snipping without even discussing her plans. i specifically told her NOT to cut it with the intention of emphasizing the curls and she began doing just that, randomly selecting strands of hair and thinning them out starting just below the scalp! there was no style, and no cut other than ... read more
best haircut ever! – i feel like every haircut i've ever received wasn't really a cut for my hair. but at sprout, they LISTEN. naomi was my stylist, and she was amazing. i have a friend who shampoos hair there, and she had told me i'd get a great cut, and she was SO RIGHT. not only does it look great on me- fits my hair, frames my face, etc.- it's easy to style and very cute. some of my friends literally didn't recognize me! and not only is naomi an attentive, talented stylist who listens to her clients and their wants/needs... read more
Awesome Experience! Best Salon in Baltimore! – Sprout is awesome! I've always had a really hard time booking appointments elsewhere. Sprout, however, was super easy to get booked and they didn't make me wait any longer than I needed to. The atmosphere is super chic and trendy. I had Leah cut my hair. Fantastic haircut – I finally found someone I can trust with my hair. No more "white knuckling" the arms of the chair. I had heard that Cliff was voted "Baltimore Best Hairstylist " and I can't agree more. My hair is easy to style, grows out great, no more bad hair days. Sprout is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Friendly folks, bad haircut – My experience at Sprout Salon was wonderful, except my haircut. I asked for one thing, and walked out with something completely different that will take a while to grow out. The products used were great, and the staff was friendly. I wish I had made an appointment with a different stylist, but it was a spur of the moment decision to get a hair cut! It seems that others have had a good experience here, but I don't think I'll be back in the future...
Sprout Salon – I probably shouldn't admit this online but I am completely gray, and have been since I was in my late 20s. So I have been coloring my hair for many a year now, and it was with some trepidation that I went to Sprout for an "all over" new hair color. Fantastic salon! – I loved the experience I had at Sprout yesterday! I just walked in, and Trina was able to see me right away. She took time to ask me what I wanted in the chair before shampooing me with a great scalp massage! Then she offered me tea, and gave me the best cut I've had in a few years! I was recommended to Sprout, and I will continue to recommend it... especially Trina!
