Closed for good? – I live in the neighborhood and Springwater Grill is/was one of my favorite happy hour and brunch locations. But driving by last night, I saw that the windows are covered in brown paper and the phone number has been disconnected. It seems that another longtime restaurant in the Sellwood/Moreland neighborhood has been claimed by the economic downturn. The WORST! – We live in the neighborhood and were completely disappointed. We went on Sunday night for dinner. Initially we had to wait to be seated. We had to wait to order our bottle of wine, and then had to wait 15 more min before it was brought to the table. The owner apologized for the wait but nothing changed. Mi esposo is the best cook there.He knows what the hell he's doing.I like the hamburgers they have there.Ive neva been inside there,but mi sposo brings us sum hamburgers from here.
greasy – egg white omlette sitting in a pool of grease. not appealing. Wait staff nice and attentive though. Need to work on food prep. someone ordering egg whites probably doesn't want them bathed in grease.
Do you like mayo and oil? – My fiancee and I went to Springwater Grill tonight hoping to experience another great restaurant in our neighborhood and were completely disappointed. We were greeted by a server who tried to take our drink order before we were even seated at the table. Go for Brunch!! – I have been there a few times before for brunch , we took our out of towners to brunch last weekend and we really enjoyed the brunch. You get fresh fruit and breads (includes banana, pumpkin?) and a list of breakfast/brunch and a nice list of lunches for a good price. it is in Selllwood neighborhood so you can continue to shop and enjoy the day . Tasty fish dishes – My mom, sister & I ate here on Saturday night after having a negative service experience elsewhere in Sellwood. I've been here once before with my husband & their salmon tacos for lunch were wonderful. Upon leaving Saturday night my mom & sister were fans of the restaurant, as well.
