My family doctor is amazing. I give him a 5 plus star. However the front desk staff are not very nice. They don't seem to care about patient care. If a patient can't get to the clinic they will do everything and anything to make things difficult and refuse to help the patient out. I also work in a medical office family practice and if we treated patients how they treat patients we would be let go. Dr Safakish is such a warm and lovely man. He has been very thorough about blood work and regular needed examinations and follow up. I feel well served by his approach and expertise.
The staff at the front desk were very unprofessional and unhelpful when assisting me and my family. It felt like they were trying to dismiss us for reasons they wouldn’t explain. They told us they only deal with MSI insurance. My mom and sister have MSI, but their cards are still being processed because of the ongoing Canada Post strike. The staff didn’t seem to understand or acknowledge that this strike is affecting card deliveries. I find him very thorough as well as empathetic. I especially commend him and his wonderful STAFF for all their follow-up efforts. Very reassuring.
Our doctors great! Yet charging us for $90 on our first meet and greet and was late less than 5 minutes is just crazy especially if traffic is unavoidable. We live 30 minutes away so I made surebwe leave our home 1hour or so before appointment, yet what I can do when traffic ahead just start to pile up? I do understand this is for the convenient for the doctors to see other patient on time, yet we were all done 2 hours before last booked appointment to my family as we all went at the same time.
