I signed in at 1:00. They took tests in the ER, and promised me something for my anxiety, and took down my medication list. The doctor said he was ordering my meds, as well as the anxiety medication, which HE felt I needed, and admitted me. I did explain to him that I was scared of caffeine and nicotine withdrawal, he simply said "it's not fatal" I entered my room, got settled and ate their mystery meat. My Aunt was taken there by ambulance not by choice. The nurses didn’t read her chart. The doctors didn’t communicate with the nurses. And the ICU is a joke. I would take a gold fish or a fly to that hospital. It should be looked into for doctors and nurses falsifying credentials!

They could be more patient oriented!
I just moved here from Chicago about 3 months ago. and after the service I got yesterday from this hospital I'm not sure if springfield is the place I want to call home. very rude Prejudice Emergency staff. smh it's a sad place . The hospital is a nice but there was one nurse who was condescending & rude without cause. Also, we all sign all this paperwork on our privacy etc., and heard staff gossiping about specific patients conditions and saying some pretty rude things about them. I'm sure that you aren't supposed to do that with a patient right there wondering what would be said about me when I left. I know nurses work super hard and long hours and deal with a lot BUT that doesn't mean you should take it out on patients nor speak badly about them a... read more
