Sports Fan – With a new head cook and lots of new waitstaff, the Sports Column has come a long way. Its a great place to meet new people while enjoying your favorite game. Just ask and they will put your game of choice on any of the many tvs. If you are a sports fan, this is the place to be at in Denver.
Stacked Results – Don't pay too much attention to the nominations for best sports bar in denver. I've seen the GM hand out the nomination ballots by the stack to staff members and have them fill them out and send them in. I wouldn't be suprised if he has done the same to some of the ratings and reviews here on CitySearch as well. The place seems to be hit and miss on everything but the service at the bar. Go there. – Simply the best bar in LoDo, and it also happens to be a sports bar. Nice!
Rating Not High Enough – The Sports Column was a pleasant surprise even though it had a Web reputation as being a "sausage" bar. The food, prices and service were excellent, even though we were warned about the tall bartender. Luckily we were not sitting at the bar. The menu had many excellent choices. The "Wait-person" was very cordial and informative. She was always there without being obtrusive.
