Top rate instructors and a variety of classes and times are what seperates Sports Chalet from the other diving schools around LA. I took my lessons at the Beverly connection location and couldn't have been happier. I was certifed within a couple weeks and even took additional advanced classes to gain more experience. I very much recommend.
This Sports Authority located in a shopping mall just across from the Beverly Center is one of the better stocked stores ib the chain. Great Scuba diving and ski shops with very knowledgable staff. They usually have one sale or another going on so its easy to come by a bargain. Parking can be a bit of a pain especially on weekends but Sports Authority validates for enough time to bop over to the Beverly Center if you feel like it.
Great selection I generally find what I'm looking for when I shop here. The staff is friendly and helpful, the store is well organized and the selection of merchandise is excellent.

Largely commercialized, however, so prepare to be bombarded by a variety of 'hot deals' that seem just so tempting but you really don't have a use for. Lots of other services besides retail equipment, like signing up for classes or adventures, etc.
I was able to find exactly what I want and was help quickly with locating things I was unable to find.
