I used to live two blocks off the square and Spoons was my favorite hang out for breakfast, comfort food dinners and sweet treats. I've since moved out to the wilds of North Texas border but make it down to McKinney on and off. I happened to have some time on my hands and my first choice was spoons to hang out, work on my book while getting something tasty to eat. I was delighted to see they were just as friendly as I remember and the German Dog hit the spot! Love you guys!
Went and had lunch yesterday for the first time. Food was amazing. But it was the bloody Mary that was the best I’ve ever had. Kimberly was our server and she was amazing. Would recommend this place to anyone and request Kimberly if you want great service with a home town smile.
Food is good, atmosphere is awesome, WiFi is great. But the waitresses are not friendly! I tried to come here to study often. Find a little corner and leave everyone alone. First they tell me that I'll have to leave when they get busy, cool I understand, but I really try to take a table no one would want. They seem bothered if I ask for refills for my coffee (yes I order a meal too). If I spend a few hours studying somewhere I tip VERY WELL keep my drink filled, a little food out and I'm happy easiest table in the world. But... read more
Someone recommended that we try the strawberry cupcake. We stopped by there and picked some up to go. I do have to say I may have eaten the best cupcake of my entire life. I highly recommend that you go there ASAP to try them!
It is absolutely wonderful for family get togethers an d great food.
