RecommendedFebruary of 2002, I having a child in Sandpoint Idaho. Our only girl was born but had severe heart problems. she was transferred to SHMC where they performed major heart surgeries to save her life. they have always been close to her and giving their best in care. Thank you so much for all you've done for our family.

I brought my daughter in to be seen at the children's emergency room. We can't rave enough about the doctor that treated her. She was kind and was very attentive to get my daughter comfortable as soon as possible. However, when we were leaving we over heard two of the nurse staff talking ill of a patients parent, stating they believe some parents bring their children in just to get out of work. Sacred Heart Children's Hospital saved my daughter's life! We couldn't be more grateful to the staff that took care of all of us during this scary time!
All the emergency staff members were amazing!! All the staff on the 3rd floor were amazing as well!! Every single one of you that helped my daughter, thank you ever so much!! All of you did an amazing job. Kept my daughter comfortable and calm. Checking on her every chance you got and making sure she got what was needed!!
My son Jesse was transported from Kootenai Medical in Coeur d'Alene to Sacred Heart... he was in DKA from an aggressive GI bug. The nurses in the PICU were amazing, 3 of them working for about 15-20 mins to place an iv and eventually ended up using an ultrasound machine to find his vein, as he was severely dehydrated and his veins were flat. With much effort, they talked me into getting a room at the Madison Inn so I could sleep (so hard to leave my son but I'm glad I did!) They stayed in contact with me and watched him clos... read more

Sacred Heart is the place to be. I’ve been there for two and half years for monthly infusions. The PEDS outpatient oncology is amazing. I loved every single nurse I had and they always made me feel welcome, safe and happy the entire time. Jane is awesome. I love her and I’m looking forward to visiting. Thank you!
No words can explain how much it means to me to have my daughter taken care of here at sacred heart children's hospital. They are on top of everything and have very very good nurses there. Love it
Everyone at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital, more particularly those who work in the Hem/Onc unit, are absolutely wonderful. When my daughter was diagnosed with leukemia, SHCH became our home for nearly 8 months. We felt loved and well taken care of, and continue to do so even though we are not inpatient there anymore. � We have been so blessed by Sacred Heart and the kind people who work there, be it music therapy, child life, the friendly janitor, or the NACs, doctors, and nurses.
