Do not rent from them, SPM IS THE WORST MANAGEMENT COMPANY AROUND!! I lived in an apartment complex for 8 years, I never had any problems with previous landlords till SPM took over. Since then, it is a nightmare!! They think only about profits, not caring about tenants. They are extremely rude, unprofessional and arrogant! Bad management, bad maintenance. In the year that I lived here I had my apartment broken into at 1:39 in the morning by maintenance man. I went to management they accused me of lying when I had no reason to lie. he was stalking me & taking videos of me on their prpty for the year that I lived there, and when I went to mgt, they terminated my lease. Managers are a joke , nice but don’t seem to actually do anything. Maintenance men, one quite capable the other a joke.. but they are always together.. who knows how much they could get done if they actually worked independently! The cleaning staff using recalled products.. but once again management said that’s what they are supposed to use.. no security at night except sat and Sunday night … most cameras don’t work at the back of the building. The property that's being managed in Montgomery, AL is horrible. The trash bin always overflowing, tenants are allowed to walk dogs all through out the complex and not clean up behind them. The lawn service people that cut the grass never pick up the paper or trash they just mow right over it and there is constantly some kind of insect problem. We are in an apartment building In Wisconsin by spm and we are not being renewed due to our neighbor below us calling the cops every day for a year for children playing during the door. We aren't purposely stomping on the floors or doing anything that is excessively loud. As stated by the neighbor. We have the cad reports to show that it isn't our fault the cops have told us numerous of times that it isn't anything to be called out for and that they didn't hear anything at all there were only a few times that they heard kids... read more
