Do not rent from them, SPM IS THE WORST MANAGEMENT COMPANY AROUND!! I lived in an apartment complex for 8 years, I never had any problems with previous landlords till SPM took over. Since then, it is a nightmare!! They think only about profits, not caring about tenants. They are extremely rude, unprofessional and arrogant! Spm property management does not care about their tenants and their apartments in Janesville Wisconsin are overpriced. steam clean the carpets and when you report a maintenance issue they say let us know if it gets worse! The property that's being managed in Montgomery, AL is horrible. The trash bin always overflowing, tenants are allowed to walk dogs all through out the complex and not clean up behind them. The lawn service people that cut the grass never pick up the paper or trash they just mow right over it and there is constantly some kind of insect problem. Needs alot of work! If i could give a zero star i would. This management company doesn't take care of things at all which is so sad. I live at Riverflats apartments in Janesville wi. Maintenance hardly fixes anything. We have a soft spot in our tub that they won't fix. Our furnace makes screeching noises in the winter, they will not fix. The carpets are dirty. Managers are a joke , nice but don’t seem to actually do anything. Maintenance men, one quite capable the other a joke.. but they are always together.. who knows how much they could get done if they actually worked independently! The cleaning staff using recalled products.. but once again management said that’s what they are supposed to use.. no security at night except sat and Sunday night … most cameras don’t work at the back of the building.
