Never, ever, go here! – I got my hair cut and relaxed and it is literally the worst relaxer I've ever had. I've been getting my hair relaxed for over 5 years, and I take great care of my hair and experience very little to no damage. After getting the relaxer at Splash, however, I've lost HUGE amounts of hair. I have spikey chunks in the front and back where my hair is an inch long. Stephanie is the BEST hair stylist! – A few weeks ago, I decided that I was tired of my hair being just plain and wanted to do something drastic so I decided to bleach out my hair and be blonde all over. Best Hairstylist/Color specialist in Indy – I loved everything about my experience at Splash! I saw Steph for the ombre look and got exactly what I wanted! The color looks amazing and she was really attentive and listened to what I wanted. I can't wait to go back for a cut and touch up! The atmosphere was comfortable and professional. Great Salon, Rude Owner – While the services, atmosphere, and decor of the upscale Indianapolis-area salon were inviting, the general treatment received by the owner was appalling. Jacqueline was rude, aloof, and incredibly patronizing as I asked questions and tried to make pleasant conversation as she cut my hair (which was uneven, not at all like I had asked for). It's hard when someone is not very happy with them selve. working with someone for 2 1/2 hours on the same cut and they still can't decide, you have to ask yourself when is enough. Its hard to please someone ,who has no direction. When someone is rude you have to ask yourself, I'm I looking at the mirror and iis it a reflection of myself......
Wonderful Experience – What a wonderful experience. I HIGHLY recommend this salon. Was pointed there by a friend an absolutely LOVE my hair. Stephanie did my hair and was FABULOUS. She was a wonderful listener to what I wanted and my hair was not only beautiful but healthier as well. The entire experience was very relaxing, from the massaging rinse chairs to the absence of loud music the time flew by. Great salon and wonderful staff!
Ready for a change! – I was looking for a new salon that is open in the evening and close to work. Splash fit both needs! I was able to get an appointment on a Monday evening - which worked out great for me. My appointment was with Alissa-Jo and she took the time to ask questions about what I wanted and listened to my concerns about my hair. I am thrilled with the results and even learned some new "hair" tricks.
Indy's best hair extensions! – Amazing! I was very unhappy with my short style hair cut and and was looking for a salon to do extensions. I had consulted with a few and chose Splash and I'm soooooo glad I did. Not only was the consultation informative and honest, I loved the atmosphere and professionalism. Wow, Many years of hair salons and this was by far the best – It was the best experience of my life as far as getting my hair done. Prices are great, service is better, and elegance is higher. They worked so wonderful and massages during your hair wash was included in the price. I will be back.
