Just left Spector furniture where I met Howie. Unfortunately because of how quickly I wanted the furniture (this week) I wasn't able to purchase from him but that didn't stop Howie from helping me. He offered suggestions and and walked me through different levels of furniture quality. Although it didn't work out this time I will definitely be back!
Spector furniture is the best store for quality furniture, great prices and a wide selection. The large furniture chains do not carry quality furniture, nor do they have knowledgeable sales personnel. Each time we've purchased furniture we were helped by one of the owners! They took time to understand what our needs were and showed us several options that worked. They also provided free delivery and setup. I never post a comment about a business, but this is definitely worth the post! We were shopping for new furniture for our family room, we looked at the big chain furniture stores and were so disappointed. I saw a fb post about Spector Furniture and realized it was a local family owned business... we checked it out and not only got the best quality furniture at the best price. Of all the furniture stores around, Spector's has the most knowledge and information than all of the other stores put together. If you think prices are higher in a local store, think again. The exact three pieces of furniture were less than half at Spector's than at the Lazy-Boy store! Great customer service and quality!
Spector is like family that you look for, expecting them to always be there.
I can't wait till I get my new mattress... individually wrapped coils, awesome warranty, memory foam to cushion these aching bones... thanks for the help and guidance.
47 years ago when my wife and I got married, we bought our furniture at Spector. Our bedroom set is still there and in great shape. Over the years we had gotten away from going there mainly because of price. Most recently we were shopping for a new sofa. After going to several of the big box stores with no success, we gravitated back to an old friend. With the great help from Howie Wiener we purchased that sofa and were able to get exactly what we wanted. No pressure; a very positive shopping experience.
I always go to Spector's for all my furniture needs. I have do so for many years. They consistently provide quality furniture, outstanding service, reliability and personalized care. You feel as if they are taking care of a member of their own family.
I've furnished my entire home in CT and my entire VT house with furniture from Spectors. I always tell my friends to go to Spector Furniture in Ansonia, because of the outstanding friendly customer service, quality products that last and the knowledgeable staff right up to the delivery people. Would give more stars, 5 isn't enough!
