Enjoy pub style comfort food served in an authentically restored 18th century log house. The Speckled Hen is modeled after the country cottage pubs of the British Isles. It boasts two working fireplaces, tavern tables with upholstered benches, a beautiful wooden bar and a radiant red walled parlor with cozy appointments, perfect for sipping cocktails and chatting with friends. Our pub has an ever-changing selection of eight beers on tap including microbrews, imports and other finely crafted beers and ales.

Loved the atmosphere! Cozy log cottage- easy to forget you are in the middle of the city. Our main purpose of our visit was to have dinner while seeing our friends' band play. We enjoyed it so much we are planning a gathering with other friends.

Food was very good. I had a wedge salad and the chicken pot pie (the kind with the crust on top, not PA Dutch style), both hit the spot. Atmosphere is great. Building is classic. Service was slow, but it was a busy Saturday evening. Will definitely return.
The food was delicious. The bartender was adorable and friendly and loved her job, which made it an even more wonderful time there. The place itself is charming. Will definitely be going there again! If you go there, you MUST try the Apple Cider Sangria. It is yummy x infinity!!!
