Enjoy pub style comfort food served in an authentically restored 18th century log house. The Speckled Hen is modeled after the country cottage pubs of the British Isles. It boasts two working fireplaces, tavern tables with upholstered benches, a beautiful wooden bar and a radiant red walled parlor with cozy appointments, perfect for sipping cocktails and chatting with friends. Our pub has an ever-changing selection of eight beers on tap including microbrews, imports and other finely crafted beers and ales.

One of few good dining spots in downtown Reading.
The burger was delicious. Our waitress was top notch. And the live music was a lot of fun. We will be back again.
