To sell out the 1,000s if not millions of LGBTQI identified baristas, coffee makers, coffee shop owners, growers, roasters, is reprehensible. You acknowledge that the event will be dangerous and unwelcoming for us, but don't care enough about us to relocate the event? Shameful. Shameful.
Can't support an organization that is openly hostile towards LGBTQIA+ peoples.
Sad policies have left me unable to support this organization. My company will no longer take part in any SCA sponsored events or trade shows. I hope others do the same. Y’all need to get your shit together.
