Definitely going here again – I got Veal with grilled vegetables, which was excellent and my girlfriend got their gnocchi, which was really superb. I would agree with other reviewers in saying that it probably is the best gnocchi in the city. Overall, great value, portions, and very attentive service!
Unstuffy Italian excellence – The dining room has an open, breezy feel, and the food and service flow with that. My favorite Italian restaurant in Philly. Always friendly, always delicious, good solid Italian food without a stuffy feel or crowded seating.

spasso has it all – If you want delicious italian food with great service in a comfortable, yet hip atmosphere, spasso is your place. The are always willing to accomodate you and even allow you to orde off the menu. Servers are exceptional (especially 'Gent'). Oh yeah, the food is alwas fresh and authentic. Have fun and ask for their 'family style' appetizer and desert. Great place for family or couples.
