The Hotel Del has the best Port wine in the city. We love to visit frequently. Always great service.

This has been a dream weekend My husband surprised me with booking the Del. We had visited the area in the past and have always dreamed of staying here. The nostalgia and splendor of visiting the Hotel Del Coronado is quite impressive. Back in the old(er) days it was much more affordable as far as prices for food, rooms...etc. Those prices have gotten outrageous the last few years. Still, the Hotel is a must see in Southern CA and well worth the time to visit. One of my favorite places in the world.

Yes, the property is old but its absolutely charming and well kept. The view from our balcony was amazing! The beach was even better! Breakfast al fresco at Sheer water listening to the ocean was a treat. This is a great property if you want a memorable experience that the modern, new build hotels that all look alike cant offer. We can't wait to go back to The Del!
Deb and I came here over 10 years ago and had a drink at the Sunset bar. That started our love affair with The Hotel Del. We came back and spent our 25th wedding anniversary here over four years ago. Whenever we get a chance we make it a point to come and stay here. When we check in it feels like coming home.
Fabulous experience from the minute we pulled. Greeted by the most friendly staff and given top notch VIP treatment. The beach and views were breathtaking from our room and room was spacious and comfortable. The lobster roll at the patio bar and grill was the best I ever had! Absolutely a wonderful experience in all!! Already planning our next visit back. Highly recommend this hotel !
So, reception smells like something died there, moldy. It is a historical building but they so used to the stink they do not notice it. Personnel is friendly, yes, but they walk into your room without warning even if you have do not disturb sign up. When they leave your room they use door stopper to leave your door unlocked for anyone to come in. I had my medicine moved like someone went through it, luckily it was nothing strong enough.
