I just lived the experience at this hotel from check I to the restaraunt to the goon great hotel
Amazing customer service, beautiful view and convenient to a food court and light shopping attached to the hotel by sky bridge.
We arrived at 3:30 am, the staff was very nice! Once we made it to our room the bathroom wasn't clean so we were moved to another room! This room was okay until the next morning stepped on a nail and killed a small roach in the bathroom! However I left my daughters purse in the first room and it was turned in with everything inside. If the rooms were seriously cleaned properly it would bra great place.
The lobby is very nice but that's where my good experience ended. The room was tired looking with large stains on the carpet. The bedding was wrinkled and old looking and my room was not cleaned properly on arrival. The breakfast buffet was nice but ridiculously overpriced at $29.99 per person, I was told my 7 year old daughter would eat free but they charged me $5.99 for her. The Marquis is an excellent hotel. The SEAR restaurant is outstanding. We were impressed with our concierge level room and loved the breathtaking city view from the 43rd floor. The only area of improvement is the Starbucks staff. The ladies were rude and unattentive. They definitely need training on Marriott standards of service. Otherwise, this is a exquisite hotel with great accommodations and services. We will definitely stay again.

The staff was great as always. Breezy check in, helpful, and accomodating. Only 2 minor complaints this year; the room and housekeeping. I know housekeeping has an extra difficult job during DragonCon as most rooms are in disarray so I don't expect daily cleanings. I do expect towels though. The first day they took them all, even though we hung them up to indicate we wanted to reuse them, and didn't replace them. I had to call for towels that night.
