Edit: so we've officially moved out and guess what. We have magic damages that cause us to not get our security deposit back. Beware!!!! You will be charged for cooking on a glass stove. $385 for damages.... I'm unable to post a picture for some reason about the "damages". But it's scratchs on one eye from cooking on a GLASS stove. Current resident..... And as others who lived here before the management change have said. It has been an horrible experience since the change. I used to love living here, but since the new management took over, the quality of this community has declined significantly. Communication is practically nonexistent. Phone calls are never answered, and residents are rarely informed about what's going on. The pool still isn't open, and there has been little to no communication about when it will be available. DO NOT LIVE HERE. When I first moved into Sovereign Hometown under the previous management company, the property was clean, communication was proactive, and residents were treated like actual people. Since the management change, the experience has completely deteriorated. Over the last several months, communication has become nearly nonexistent. UPDATE 4/25/26: Despite the "canned" response from management below and my outreach to corporate, NOTHING HAS CHANGED. I was forced to file reports with the Texas Attorney General and the BBB, which finally prompted Amy to call me last week to "confirm my address so they could mail the check she had on her desk." I have still not received my refund for the security deposit I paid in good faith back on February 20th.
