RecommendedI would definitely recommend them they have great staff and great doctors that take care of you until you are fully healed they are wonderful people
Do not go, it used to be the best hospital in Lawton... but if you do and Tamara Rice who is a nurse practitioner or Dr Micheal Oliver comes in just walk out because they do not care- they are arrogant!! I am a nurse practitioner x 15 yrs and I just found out my son has had so much pain the past 3 nights he couldn’t even sleep. Ms Rice was rude and laughed at me twice. I use to love southwestern but after today's treatment I will never go back. I went to preregister for my procedure today i was very excited as i had the 864 dollars they said i need when the first procedure was rescheduled for this reason. When I went to pay I was told the wouldn't do the procedure unless I could know pay another 800 dollars
Be patient with insurance and stop threatening collections.
Well tonight I learned the hard way that if you have a major needle phobia and in the ER you will receive NO pain medicine. I specifically requested pill form. was told no. I asked for ibuprofen or anything. sorely disappointed
RecommendedNurses and staff were respectful. The only bad thing I would say is the billing. If you are out of network (as I was), they expect an outragious amount of money from you every month, or they want the full payment upfront. I don't see how that is even possible. :(
