The lady in the front came to my daughters room with paper work n read them ,n daughter was paying attention to the one sticking her with needle to do lab work n the other lady got in her face n said excuse me ....pist me ( mom & her sister off ) and also rolled her eyes ....so there aint no way in hell i would go back to southwestern .....I WORK AT CCMH AND I WILL PICK THEM TO CARE FOR MY DAUGHTER OR HUSBAND ....
Dr. Chapman & Dr. Malowney are both phenomenal doctors. My husband has been in Lawton for 6 months at Fort Sill, and with multiple chronic illnesses & numerous other issues that have resulted from the aforementioned illnesses, I was very hesitant to join him in Lawton. I was concerned about the small town & small hospitals, since even Chattanooga, TN (where I'm from) has limited options for care for me, and I'm forced to travel to Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins. Went in the ER for chest and stomach pain. Within a few minutes I was taken back, hooked up to monitors, and blood drawn. I ended up having to stay for observation and the nursing staff was so nice and caring. I will continue to use Southwestern for mine and my families needs!!
My daughter freaked out about wearing the hospital gown so they where really accommodating and just let her go back with out it!
It would be the last place I would go for health care. Decision based on the health care of a close friend .
