We signed a 18 month lease agreement due to the location and the amenities. Paid over $2,000 a month for a 2bedroom, 2 bath. The building is poorly managed. Dog fecal matter in the halls, broken elevators, gates and door constantly. Car breakins in the “secure” parking garage. Lack of security and maintenance. Barking dogs all hours of the night. Love the location - close to downtown, King William, Blue Star and the San Antonio River. Maintenance staff is friendly and responsive. Manager and new staff have been helpful. Apartments are pretty quiet...just hear noise in hallways but not through walls. Very nice amenities. Was a problem with trash in common areas over weekends but after a few complaints management addressed the issue. Very responsive team.

Never thought I would enjoy living in an Apartment after owning my a home. Jennifer V. made the process easy and showed me around until I found the right unit that met my concerns. Southtown Flats is very convenient to lots of restaurants, Highways etc.
If you’ve ever wanted to live in a dorm and a cruise ship at the same time this is probably your best bet. Living here was complete chaos from start to finish. Multiple manager changes made sure you were never on the same page with the front office when it came to issues. One of the front office workers is completely incompetent and the other is always in the middle of a personal call or snacking on something and doesn’t have time for you. the area is a crime zone, vehicles get broke into often. And the Train blowing the whistle is quite annoying. Nice apartment, just don't leave anything in a vehicle!
