This is from direct experience from buying multiple International LT's from Southland International. The last 12 - 2023 and 2024 model trucks purchased have been nothing but a nightmare with A26 engines. Oil leaks on almost every truck with under 300,000 miles. Air compressor gasket fails and leaks oil. Oil pan gaskets failing and pouring oil out. Front covers leaking oil. NOT under warranty. The engine does not have a cut off for low engine oil. Truck came in on 12.9.24. Repaired 3.18.25. The hold up was backordered on a headset. That repair is perfect. All new fisk brakes through out. That repair is perfect. Replaced my entire a/ system. That repair is perfect.replacedmy multi switch on driver's door. That repair is perfect. The mechanics are talented. And a DOT inspection....see below ...... Here is what went wrong. Missing 2 of my 8 batteries. All the hardware wires was loose.fault code showing the computer has hardware damage. Oil centrifugal filter was damaged.... read more
