RecommendedThis is my first apartment outside of college and I am SO in love. Everyone always talks about how complicated the transition is but the staff at Southern Oaks go above and beyond to help you and are always so quick to help you out. The grounds are always super clean, the maintenance is so quick to respond to your issues, and there’s always a friendly face to greet you at the office. 5 stars for sure. 😍 PS: the apartments are true to what they look like online!!!

I love this 😍 property I rented a nice apartament with all new Appliances and maintenance service is Awesome 👍!
Very unethical in the way they handle their tenants; especially when leaving. They make up lies and make threats to pressure you into paying extra costs and releasing your security deposit. Take pictures and get everything in writing!!!�
This apartment complex and managing company are terribly managed and corrupt. They took money illegally out of our account after we moved out and then billed us hundreds of $$$ extras that was illegal to charge by Texas tenant law and when we wouldn’t pay they hit our credit with collections. I called the umbrella management company that owns this complex and they said they’d look into it and I never heard from them again. Be aware of the poor management staff at Southern Oaks. Lumacorp is far from issues that will arise here and will not be responsive in any way. This complex floods out during rain and maintenance is slow to fix reported issues. Don’t be fooled by their initial good behavior, one issue and the honeymoon is over. The staff here holds personal grudges against residents, this is their place of work but their actions reflect a high school attitude: catty, aggressive, and immature. I love the new office staff they get stuff done. The last lady's were nice and all up front but for the most part lazy. Busted water pipe boom done. AC out at 3am on a 100o night boom fix by 4am. These got my roof fixed in one shot after 5 years of the others hiring fast and cheap over and over again. Hell last group I had to go to Home office after 5 weeks of constantly reporting no hot water in Jan-February it bloody sleeted one of those weeks...!
