I recently stayed at SoCal Sunrise in Mission Viejo for two weeks. I wanted to write an honest assessment of my experience there hoping that my review can help others and the owners of the facility. SoCal Sunrise was recommended to me for residential treatment since the IOP care I was at felt I would benefit from a higher level of care. I thank this program so much for helping me I’ll miss everyone I met there and if I could go back to when I first got there I would I’ll miss my morning routine and the staff my therapist was very helpful I applaud her for helping me through my recovery leaving was very hard and tearful but I’ll just be happy I came here I enjoyed my time recovering
If i could give it 0 stars i would. Nothing but false promises and misleading information is available here. Btw if a company cant keep staff around for more than 6 months then maybe it’s because these employees are figuring out how shady this place actually is. Good luck to the staff who genuinely care and have empathy for people, I hope the owners of this company find a way to heal themselves, and possibly seek out a residential of their own.
Jonathan is the best tech there. He is really insightful and approaches clients in a genuine way.I definitely recommend having a conversation with him.
TLDR: Avoid at all costs. Promised mental health care was completely absent during my 48-hour stay, marked by negligence and unprofessionalism. Initial Expectations: I sought help for panic attacks, agoraphobia, and generalized anxiety disorder. The intake process seemed promising, with assurances of regular therapy, meals, experienced staff, and a structured schedule. Unfortunately, these promises were unmet.
