I always talked about starting a program and would always send messages to set up intake but then the day would come for intake and of course, I wouldn't show up....8 months ago I finally pulled the trigger and This is where I ended up going and I have to say, I have had nothing but a pleasant experience. I had the same counselor since Day 1 and she seriously is the bees knees. This place well previously Discovery House saved my life. I would not be where I am today if it wasn’t for this place and Sherry!!!
Everyone here is so nice and helpful. I definitely was nervous to come here because of my anxiety. But this is definitely the place I recommend if you need help with addiction/recovery. Every person that works here are so nice and they do everything they can to make you comfortable. No one will judge you here. Everyone here is so helpful and they listen to you and they do everything they can to help you stay clean. I'm thankful for everything they have done to help me!
They accommodated me on my stay here and helped me with my dosing but the nurses were pretty much always late and there was wait times which I'm not used to. I wasn't too fond of the crowd that came here either. Just because you used to be an addict doesn't mean you need to still act like one.
