DEFINITELY GO HERE – I found this restaurant on this website before I went on my roadtrip and made a point of finding it. It was everything I'd hoped for and more. Cheap as heck, AWESOME po'boys, strong drink, AND it was in a neighborhood that was playing street music (Big Head Todd or something like that, it was great). I would HIGHLY recommend it. There is also a great used music store and a cute coffee shop nearby. GO!
It was worth the hunt – This is was a little hard for us to find since we are not from Nashville and 21st street starts and stops, but it was worth the hunt. My sister had the steak, and said it was good. My crab legs were great, and had plenty to eat. I will visit here again on my next visit to Nashville!
hard to beat... – having been a local nash'villian for all of 4 months now, everytime my wife and i go out to eat, it seems as though we choose south street instead of trying "something new". it's good food, inexpensive, bustling with people and fun to eat at - espeically in warmer weather when they "roll up" the front of the place and open it to the street. dinner for 2 with a few beers never exceeds $50 or $60. and you leave stuffed. i wish they had more nonsmoking seats though....
the beach in nashville – the breeze blows thru the bar and its like being on vacation. The bar tenders are the best. The music is varried and meets the mood of the bar. Good locals crowd. Varried opinions and they are all welcomed. We just have alot of fun. Go alot. You realy can be yourself and find a conversation whenever you go.
Wonderful Ambiance – Located in a wonderful old garage, maybe firehouse, this place is incredible. Do not leave without ordering the Smokin Thighs!!!! If you want a great place to unwind and enjoy good food, and awesome environment come here!!! Goofla
AWESOME – This is a totally awesome place for happy hour and relaxation. Gotta try it at least one time. Fun fun fun time
Treetop Tales – The South Street TreeHouse is a great place to hang out with friends. The atmosphere is incredible. The open-air Tree House is a great place to grab some seafood and down a few beers or margaritas. I would highly recommend the Tree House for a casual night out on the town.
casual, good food – South Street is a great place to share a tasty, casual meal, especially when the weather is nice. The food is good, and the atmosphere is comfortable and unique. Fun place for a lazy afternoon lunch.
good times on the house!! – I remember 4 years back in my college days, one of the best nights out that ended at South Street.........I always had a blast when I was there and will be taking the hubby to visit when we're in town this weekend!!
