Love the food and atmosphere
mmmmmmmmmmgood very good location
we only had appetizers but it was delicious, the mushroom Ajillo dish was great especially dipping the bread in the oil the mushrooms came in. The fried artichokes not as good as i hoped and alot of hard skin was left on it.
first time visit this afternoon. I love the interior decor of the place very simplistic & modern cozy feel. The staff was very friendly and fast service. Some cons people can have are a smaller menu, and a little bit on the pricey side for the size of most dishes. However, any that knows the restaurant business knows that quality + presentation + fresh food over quantity is always best. ✨ very pleasant experience, and my server was wonderful, big smile, positive energy, and enthusiastic about her job. 5 stars. 🌟

Very rude waiter. I have been coming to this place since it opened almost 5 years ago and have always enjoyed it, though noticed it slipping. Their talented waitstaff is always leaving: a telltale sign. Tonight, I complained to the waiter that the portion size of my favorite dish ( that I order all the time) was noticeably small. For an $18 dish, I felt justified but awkward about asking him about it. I love South and eat hear about once a week... But last night... I ordered my usual beet salad with 4 chicken skewers n the side.. I like to split the salad n skewers for lunch the next day. When the waitress asked if I wanted it to go I said yes. She offered to box it for me. When she returned I kinda looked at it weird thinking how did she get skewers in the box? Eat here several times a month
Currently South has a Pork Belly Ramen that is spectacular; however, it was difficult to eat without chopsticks. I’m sure several people have pointed this out to them. I went back today for the ramen and they had chopsticks! They do listen to their customers! The atmosphere is bright and sunny and added to that they have many specialty drinks that appear to be popular with their clientele. We always have a very pleasant visit when we have a meal at South Restaurant.
