I was excited about their menu. I ordered the flank steak with chimichurri and sweet potatoes. It looked gorgeous but it turned out inedible. The steak was rubber, I was chewing for minutes on one piece. The chimichurri was pungent and sour, I took one bite and spit it into my napkin. My boyfriend had the butter burger and it was great. So I sent back my food and ordered the burger since I knew I would like that. Did pickup today because I could not stop thinking about how good their French Onion Soup would be on a cool rainy day. Paired with a French Dip sandwich and got the same for my husband. Fantastic as usual. Easy curbside pickup. Thanks South!
This is one of our favorite stops when we’re in Anchorage. The food is amazing and the service makes us feel like locals. DO NOT MISS THIS WONDERFUL PLACE!

if you want to dine next to a dumpster and homeless folks, dine here. It's sad they charge an arm and a leg for low quality, mushy sandwiches and feed and offer free booze to homeless people right next to you. sad. will not be back.
