If you don't mind being away from the strip, this is definitely the place to be. They have everything. The buffet is excellent. The beer is cheap $2 and slots pay generously.

Slots suck,food at the Oyster bar & Garden Buffet was awful. Way understaffed for attempting to meet the demands of the NFR & World Series cliental. �

We just returned from our first stay at South Point. We will never stay anywhere else for NFR! Everything was right there! Rooms were good sized, clean, and staff helpful and friendly! Watched the Rodeo in one of the bars. Shuttle to and from Cowboy Christmas was free! Beats paying $10 to park! South Point has our business!

Too many old slot machines. Lost all my money. Also too many poker machines. But the worst experience was being around a sea of cowboy hats, made me feel like I was at a Trump rally.

Love this place!! Thecasino host we often talk to: Pam, is awesome!! Always ready with a smile and some comps! The service staff on the floor are great-especially Charmaine!! We appreciate the Club points and get great value for our play! Also like the fact that some of the video poker games on the floor have some pretty good returns!
