I think south bend clutch suck !! Mine will not slip but also will not let go!! Have a hack of a time get it in gear !! Sometimes have to shut the motor down to get in reverse !! And this is the second one !!

I have installed several clutches from South Bend Clutch. The last one was burned out by a moron with his foot on the left footrest/pedal. They offered to sell one at cost even though it was not their fault. Thanks guys, your clutches will continue to be used in this fleet! Quality and service is like buying oats. If you want nice clean oats, you must pay a fair price. However, if you are satisfied with oats that have already been through the horse, that is a bit cheaper.

Worst customer service in the entire entire world. Ordered part through our dealership. Sent the wrong one then said they would overnight the parts it's now 4 o clock the next day and just found out they just now shipped the clutch. The car it's going in has now been taking up a rack in our shop for 3 days and still won't have a clutch in it by the weekend. 97 f350 7.3 power stroke... Almost stock minus exhaust, single disk with smf upgrade and this damn thing is a year old with less then 10k miles and slipping... Nothing ever leaked on it.. Valair is the next idea since I guess southbend doesn't do warrantys for this even tho it's rated at 500+ horse and I promise this 7.3 isn't anywhere near 250
Amazing clutch, feels better than my OEM and in on a stage 4 4 puck. Amazing product, amazing people here at south bend.
