The doctor is good and has helped me tremendously!
The doctor is good but she is terrible at managing her schedule. She has zero flexibility with cancelations (requires multiple days warning) and yet has zero problems canceling 10 minutes before your appointment. She demands 200$ if you cancel on a Thursday for a Monday appointment (even though you do cancel via text more than 48 hrs b4 the apt) and yet does not give you a dime if she cancels when you are already in her lobby. I'm really sick of her inability to manage her own schedule like a professional.
Will let you be the judge here. I was a patient of Dr.Duriez's 9 years ago. I called to get a note from her to just confirm my history of mental illness that she knows I have and it's clear in my file that they still have. I said I would pay the $50 note fee. According to her "office manager" and "Policy" She wouldn't do it. She wanted a full session rate first + the $50 note fee. This is a example of what happens when you have for profit Medicine. Dr. Duriez really cares and she does a good job assessing so that the right diagnosis is made.
Dr Duriez is wonderful! She always makes me laugh whenever I come in to see her. Dr Duriez knows exactly how to help in any situation, from my ADHD to my boy issues. 100% recommend!
