Just tried Sonny Bryan's for the first time. Loved the food, but have to let you know how well we were treated by the staff. They took great care of us, we're friendly, and genuinely cared about our dining experience. It's rare to eat out and feel like you are more than just another customer. We will definitely be coming back!

Not so great – It's taken me one month to cautiously think about this review and try my best to given an honest account of the bbq at Sonnys. I'm no expert at bbq but I've had my fair share of bbq across texas. I think i have an idea of what food/ restaurants are good with an objective thought process. I went to school in Austin (UT) and ate at all the joints down there i.e. Saltlick, Rudy's, County Line etc. Saltlick is my favorite but the sauce could use some kick. Peace Love and BBQ – I've been eating at Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse for twenty years and I cannot get enough. I absolutely love a nice place of brisket, preferably from the business end, with links, fries and Sonny's signature sauce. The original Sonny's is top notch, authentic, professional BBQ made the good old fashioned way. Any time of day, Sonny Bryan's hits the spot.
Not as good as the reviews that I saw... – Since my wife and I moved from Oklahoma to texas we have been in search of a good barbeque. We tried a Sonny Bryans on the Fort Worth side of town because of some reviews that we read. I must say that we were pretty disappointed. The service was good, the prices were okay. The food was just very mediocre at best. In Oklahoma there is this place called the Rib Cribb which is the best ever so we do have pretty high expectations.
