I was raised on BBQ and this is pretty good. Not the best I've had, but you cant go wrong here. The staff is very friendly and it's a fun place to go. Plus you get delicious biscuits when you go :)

So glad you are still in business! I have such fond childhood memories of my mother and I going to garage sales early on Sat. mornings and getting lunch at Smokey's. Chopped, extra sauce and relish with fries. New Orleans tries hard on their barbq., but it is just not Tex. style. Thanks for the great food and memories.

Just tried your brisket, pulled pork, ribs and jalapeno sausage for the first time; it was excellent! The fried okra was also very good. We'll be back!
