I have been with Dr. Whitaker for over a year. Now the wait time in her office is over an hour. She does not bring with her paper, notebook, computer or pen when she is with you.
She was very informative and interested in solving my medical problems I brought up about myself
Thorough and seemed most patient-focused on my health considerations. Felt as though she cared about understanding my own situation and making prudent recommendations in a sensible and measured way. I prefer Doctors that are willing to discuss and explain various modalities, medications and ideas. She checked all of those boxes for me. I appreciated her style and approach very much.
She was horrible. Compared me with other patients instead of evaluating my situation and medical needs. She was dishonest and controlling. She also put me down for breastfeeding - she said I should only breast feed 6 months and it was not beneficial to breast feed after 6 months of age (which is not true at all). She only breast feed all 4 of her children 6 months each. I would NOT recommend anyone to this person.
good doctor who takes the time to talk to you. I would recommend her highly!
Dr. Whitaker is an excellent Dr. who thinks out of the box. I would give her a 5 star rating.
