I had a new patient visit but strangely, none of it included normal physical examination like abdomen, eye and ear check etc. Did not discuss family history. Did not request any records - did not look at health history. Did not check vaccine status to make sure I'm up to date. For all the reviews claiming she was thorough I was shocked to have the least thorough exam of my life! Not to mention no regard for encouraging other health behaviors like visit dermatologist, dentist, etc. Worst of all she was just very condescending... read more
I think Dr. W. is very knowledgable but was not interested in listening during my appointment of after the appointment when I raised a concern. She coded my visit incorrectly causing me to pay a great deal. She would not even listen to why I felt the coding was wrong just refused to make any changes. Her office also made an error making my appointment which also cost me money. She lost my trust so I will not be back.

Very thorough
She is amazing. She is doing everything she can to find out what is wrong with me and how to treat it which is way more than I have ever had before and I am in my late 40's I will and ha e recommend Mrs Whitaker to family and friends

Dr. Whitaker is the most thorough, and seeming most knowledgeable, practioner I have ever encountered. I feel blessed to have located her and have been added as a patient. I truly believe she may have saved me from stroking out and/or having a heart attack. i have discovered She has developed a superior reputation within the ancillary services community.

Although she is a good doctor we will not go to her again because she is always way behind her schedule. Today I walked out after almost 2 hours and still had not seen her. We'll use the P A and try other doctors in the group. It is not possible to have any other plans within 2 or 3 hours after an appointment her because you might not be out of her office. Guess she is still on military time, hurry up and wait.

Whitaker does not listen to what you try to say, in fact, she embarrassed me by walking down the hall screaming my name and trying to tell me I had a condition which I did not have: that sure broke the trust between she and I! (I had proof concerning the mistake she made but she didn't want to hear it.)
Dr Whitaker is an extremely experienced and knowledgeable practitioner. She takes a very scientific approach based on hard evidence. If you want the best, go see her! She is very direct and all business!

I saw her today and she order tests for so many things said I’m severely anemic (I donate blood every 6 weeks & they check that) diabetes (normal weight no signs), hepatitis C, endoscopy bc I could be bleeding in my esophagus causing the severe anemia. I have a very loud heart murmur (I know I have a heart murmur, tested not to worry about) I need to go to a cardiologist and pulmonologist bc of this. She said I have good insurance, she checked.
