Sooo, I don't know how your relationship with hospice started, but here is mine. Our loved one was admitted to the hospital with some very serious medical issues. The hospitalist (treating doctor), sent around a palliative care doctor (doctor who specializes in improving the lives for people with serious illness), who explained that our loved one would benefit from hospice services. From the moment that our mom was placed on hospice, Sonata Hospice moved swiftly to provide exemplary service and compassionate care. Supplies and needed equipment - oxygen pump, adjustable bed, and reclining wheelchair were delivered the next day - all for the purpose of providing mom comfort. Special thanks to Deci at the office for expediting equipment deliveries and Anna (visiting nurse) for her loving care.
