So, I have never talked to a hair stylist who said "I can't do that" until I visited this salon with my step-son. It's literally across the street from our apartment. We just moved here and I didn't know what to expect, but my partner had already taken our son here and made another appointment for yesterday. So we get there, and we were assigned Megan. I was nervous to go to a new stylist. I was going to the same salon in Dallas for 9 years and just recently moved to Chicago. Solo Salon was an amazing find! Julio is such a fantastic stylist! I’ve found my new stylist and salon!
First time visit yesterday , Claire was great! I love the vibe , really low key and peaceful. An nice change from some of the tragically hip places I have been. I will be back!
I had a great experience with Laine as her hair model for a bob cut. She explained everything as she worked and asked for my input too. It is a beautiful salon in a fun neighborhood !
Seamus was a complete doll! My hair was in need for some care and he gave me a whole new look! I appreciate all the time he spent going over a plan that would be best for my hair. Best salon experience.
Khloe took her time and explained what color works best for me. She looked at the picture I showed her and made it happen.
I used Solo Salon this past May for my wedding, with them doing the hair and makeup for not only myself, but my entire wedding party. Everyone could not have been happier with their looks! They were able to accomodate everyone's hairstyle and were not too heavy handed with the makeup, which was key, as everyone wanted a more natural look. Aside from their work, they were also super fun and able to make what otherwise would have been a very nervous morning extremely enjoyable. I highly recommend them for your wedding needs!
