Michael has been such a supportive, empathetic and encouraging provider. In our time together, he has guided me through big emotions, and has modelled that it is safe to share and feel. Michael’s work is always informed by an intersectional lens, and has encouraged me to process using this same perspective. He has been so helpful to me!
Michael is a great therapist and I would definitely recommend! Over the past 2 years, Michael has helped me and continues to help me heal from childhood wounds that impact not only my personal life, but also in my relationship of over 10 years. Finding a therapist that I connect with has been a daunting task over the years with few results. Just over a year ago, I began meeting with Michael Olenik on a regular basis. It has been such a positive experience. Michael meets me where I am at, and has a genuine interest in seeing me grow. 5 stars for Micheal Olenik, he is a wise, patient and incredibly insightful therapist. We’ve been working together for close to a year and after much searching to find the “right fit”, he takes the cake. Micheal’s background in social work, radical anti-opression, LGBTQ+ values and a BA of philosophy leads to a nuanced lens in which to see my internal/external struggles, and celebrate the triumphs, big or small!
