Had an existing system with a bad inverter, they charged $200 for a system “inspection” and $500 to install the new inverter (cost of inverter was under warranty). 3 weeks later the inverter goes bad and they refuse to come look at the system without charging me an additional $200 for the same “inspection” done earlier. I had no issues with the initial encounter/fix but paying $700 for 3 weeks of solar just to be price gauges when there are recent issues seems crazy. RecommendedSolare is an incredible company to work with. This is the second install I have done with them in the past four years. I sold my last home and when I bought a new one, it had a solar system that was too small for my needs. I picked up the phone and called and within one month of moving in my system had the additional capacity I needed. They even recommended that I change out my single speed pool pump, which I am having done this weekend to save even more money. I selected Solare because of their reputation for being a financially sound company in an industry full of scammers and fly-by-nights. I loved the piece of mind that gave me. The crew was professional, salesperson knowledgeable, and service team responsive. My only regret is I didn't buy more battery storage...very cool!
We had a fantastic experience when we bought and the system was installed (5 stars). It's a large 13.5kW system with 50 microinverters. The powerline Ethernet comms died after three years. I replaced those no big deal (4 stars). In mid May this year, the system started outputting 0W. Nobody at Solare was watching apparently, even though I thought this was the exact reason that we gave them access to the system. I have tried email, social media and voice mail to get help to fix the system. Hopefully we can get this fixed swif... read more
Dustin Merkley you are FABULOUS!!!! We're on our 2nd year of Solare Energy solar and used the AC & Heater A LOT these past 12 months and only owe SDG&E $52.00 for the year. Before we switched to solar, our electric bill was between $365-$489/month. We are sooooo glad we went with Solare Energy!!!
