They offered me $100 to give good feedback, but I'd rather tell the truth. Agent (jordan) only got "on the ball" when I called him. After it was installed, they didn't turn it on nor gave instructions on how to turn it on. I waited a month with a brand new system waiting on simple instructions. The system works, so no problems there.

May 2022 set video with sales went well. We got told in about 1 month the roof and electrical inspection will be done. They came out and did the inspection. They need to review it and tel us if the roof, meter electrical and electrical box are all okay. AEP had to change or transformer from 10K to 15K they came and changed it. Then AEP wanted to know when the project was getting installed to our house. They said it was not installed yet. That was July. I am dealing with a project manager, I have his extension. I have also called the main number and thought I would get somewhere with he project manager. Our solar stopped working on June 13, 2022. A bad storm went through with lightning, hail and severe winds. It took about a week for us to realize but we called right after we discovered it. The installation went well, however like others we were told that they would be monitoring the system.However in late May/early July 2022 the microinverters stopped responding due to a breaker being tripped.Luckily I watch the system regularly and was able to get it back online by resetting everything after it had been off for a day.It now regularly trips and goes offline.I called to ask Solar is Freedom to come do a warranty claim, was told that it would take two weeks to have someone come out here.It has now been over 6 we... read more
Extremely unprofessional sales people.Asked a lot of personal info. When i asked why it was to pull credit before i saw the first person or any quote.I have been left with an uneasy feeling concerning identity theft. I answered the extensive questionnaire concerning our home and electric usage only to have the salesperson call several times to ask tge sane questions. I probably have 90 minutes to 2 hours in just this company's questions and no appointment to have someone come look at anything nor do i have ANY pricing inform... read more
At first it seemed like an amazing company. They will not get back to us. Instead of getting a significant discount on electric - it had doubled! Ive tried calling them for a month. Despite emailing and leaving messages when their recording says theyll get back to us in 48 hours, we have heard nothing.

Got 29 panels installed Oct 2020. Mid Feb 2022, Our breakers for our solar panels caught fire, burning up the 2 solar panel breakers and 5 surrounding breakers. Solar is freedom was contacted and sent the pictures. We were told the pics were getting "sent up the food chain". My husband had to contact them multiple times a week, for 3 weeks, before someone finally came out to take a look. Paying more now with solar than without. You cannot contact any at this company and they will not call you back
The panels are up and working great. The install went well even though it was two months behind schedule. After the install it took several weeks for them to communicate to the power company to get us switched over to net metering. Next they promised they would monitor our system 24-7 so if anything was wrong they would know it right away. The monitoring system quit working after just a few weeks and it took three months and several phone calls and emails before they came out and fixed it.
