ALDEN"S THE BOMB!! – He is the master of color! Amazing talent and knowledge of his field. He takes a look at you and then the creativity takes over and the end result is art itself. My hair cut allows me to look better than I have in years! The salon has a fantastic atmosphere where you can go to relax be transformed and enjoy the great team of people that surround you. Appointments are beautifuly handled by Tim and he has a super talent for getting you in when you need to.
Love my Deborah Shalom – Best of the best ! Found Deborah as I was walking by and saw her... the girl with the best haircut and best hair color... she hooked me up with Deborah. Love her artistic ways, and she can alter any "trendy" look to suit you the best. Her knack with color is incredible, she'll know to go a shade deeper or darker to light up your face, people always tell me I'm glowing!
The best stylist I have ever had – John Moler at SOK is the most talented and friendliest stylist I have ever had! I love him to death. He takes his work very seriously and makes you feel so relaxed and pampered. He always goes out of his way to make the experience enjoyable and is so funny. I highly recommend him no matter what kind of hair type you have or what kind of style you want!
Best Hair Salon – I've been going to SOK for a few years now. My family and many of my friends also go there. SOK's calibar of hair stylists makes this the best hair salon in Houston. The staff is friendly and I love the ambiance! The stylists are so hip!
SOK is awesome all the way around – Alden (the owner) is my hairstylist and has been for the past 2+ years (ever since I found him!). He gives me such wonderful diversity when it comes to styling my hair. He rocks with cut or color. The whole staff there shows skill with both hair and conversation. Tim's a great guy, too. He'll take care of all your appts and is a good person to chit chat with when you're waiting for your color to set!
Deborah Shalom-I keep running out of cards – I am the kind of person who will actually hand someone a business card if he or she compliments something that I take pride in. Take my hair for example. I love John Moler and SOK! – When I moved to Houston 7 years ago, I still made the 5 hour drive to my hometown to have my hair colored. At some point, I decided to find someone in town. After trying Visible Changes for a bit, where my hair was coming out every color other than what I wanted, I decided to try another salon.
