I had not flown in 15 years until Dr. Zahedi treated me. After 6 months I was flyingHe is knowledgeable and caring and he did something that no other doc could do with the right combo of therapy and medsMy life is changed and I am eternally grateful
He needs to read the DSM. He thinks autism can only be diagnosed in children. He also said that an autistic person would never admit to being autistic. His bedside manner is atrocious. He is one of those 'doctors' who is more interested in his BMW than helping people. He treated me like I was less than human. He misdiagnosed me and left me to fix things on my own. Dr. Zahedi has truly changed my life. He is, by far, the best psychiatrist that I have ever seen. He has been a good combination of compassionate and real. He is truly concerned with the wellbeing of his patients; He is not afraid of prescribing appropriate medication, but also strives to mitigate side effects. Dr. Z is very much LGBTQ+ friendly, as I am a member of this community, and it has been a non-issue. Truly thankful for this doctor!
Avoid if looking for LGBTQ+ specific support. Doctor is very forgetful and can come off being rude and obnoxious. However, I believe this is a sign of his upbringing environment. If you are looking for someone to be accepting/comforting this is not the place to go. He likes to be in control and is willing to let patients go if they disagree or push back in any way (even if it is years of working together). His team, however, are wonderful and caring. Dr. Zahedi is the reason I am finally feeling "normal". He is very good at figuring out what you need. He is not too good with needy type people
Dr. Z truly cares about his patients. I have been seeing him for 5 or so years. I will never see another psychiatrist again. He is honest, caring and has the BEST staff. What I like about seeing Dr. Z is that he will tell me his honest unbiased opinion. Other psychiatrists I’ve seen just tell you what you want to hear. Take his advice he knows what he’s talking about. I couldn’t thank him enough. On another note Jenece is also wonderful. She is a saving grace.
I appreciate how Dr. Zahedi offers honesty and encouragement with compassion. I have been a patient of his for three years now and he has also been dependable and assesible throughout thia time.
Been a patient of Dr. Z for about a year and he has been great. He’s very helpful and honest, and has made a world of difference for me. I fully trust his advice on medication and other things. He truly has his patients health and well-being at the forefront of his mind.
I can't say enough about Dr. Zahedi. I feel like I'm talking to one of my buddies when I talk to him. You know, the buddy that tells you exactly how it is and doesn't pull any punches. It's refreshing to see a Doc that doesn't blame all your problems on something other than where the blame belongs. As far as I'm concerned, he's spot on!!!
