Waiting for pathology reports, phones go unanswered, messages not returned. Wife and I will not be back to this office. When complaining they make excuses rather than acknowledging a problem.
After waiting months for an appointment with Dr. Soe, she told me that a scab I had uner my chin for several months was nothing to worry about. After leaving, this continued to bother me. Had to wait another few months for an appointment with another dermatologist. Had a biopsy and it was cancer. Waited another month for surgery. It had spread and surgery took 3 hours. Very large incisions and extremely painful. Beware!!!
Dr. Soe walked into the examination room, took my phone out of my hand without asking, and said: "I love a man with a small phone". She seemed competent, but she was rude and rushed the exam, then said goodbye and left abruptly. I told the nurse that we never talked about a second skin problem that I had disclosed earlier to the same nurse, so she went to go get Dr. Soe. Dr. Kathleen Soe had no bedside manner, very abrupt and rushed through the exam. She started pre diagnosing me before I could explain why I was there. She said I needed lots lotions. Which is ok for me but it’s not why I was there. I changed doctors because my insurance changed. I only have small patch of psoriasis on my head and I have been seeing another doctor for 20 years. The intake nurse/PA spent more time asking me about my skin condition than Dr Soe spent with me. I have suffered from psoriasis for 16 years and taking medication for it. I came in to see what alternative medications I could switch to since my current one is being ineffective. I was told TO USE MORE MOISTURIZER! Completely unprofressional and barely examined me to say she didnt see any signs of psoriasis. That the itching I have been feeling is simply because I don't use enough lotion. Felt very rushed, they almost came in before I had the gown on. I had a new patient visit and annual skin exam scheduled. My apt was at 10:30 I completed all the paperwork before my apt. but didn't get called back till 11:45. I've had previous skin cancer. The doctor was very unprofessional and bad mouthed my previous doctor and did a 5 min check over my whole body. Defiantly not what I'm use to in a dermatologist. Will not be back.
After going to several dermatologists in the area I went to see Dr. Soe over 13 years ago and have been with her ever since. She was the first doctor to treat my skin problems properly and I am always greeted with a kind and professional attitude. The staff is wonderful as well and does their best to get me in if an unexpected issue arises. I would 100% recommend Dr. Soe!
Rude, inexperienced in patient care. Money-grubbing. Made up her own office protocol for post-op care in order to maximize the amount of money she could get from the insurance company and the patients. This ridiculous protocol had nothing to do with patient health. Her full body exam for moles was not done in compliance with medical Standard Of Care Protocol. Wow where do I begin, belittling, rude, no bedside manner whatsoever and plain old ugly demeanor. Just went in for a follow up to a small basil cell spot on my temple. I admitted to not applying the prescription as told. BUT told Dr Soe ( miserable ) that I would take it more seriously and please reschedule me.
