As a Laconia resident the SS has always been my go to. Well 8-10-17 I went for dinner and ordered the marinated steak tips mashed and peas. The steak was NASTY to the point I Gaged. I didn't eat a single other bite but still had to pay 12.99 for a half of a half bit or a tip. The waitress came over and I informed her I wasn't happy and she couldn't have cared less. Well I won't be going back. That was the worst food and service I ever got and paid $30 for a $6.00 meal of chicken fingers and FF
Good tasting food at a fantastic price point. Soda Shoppe is definitely one of the best local breakfast spots.

Downtown fare at its finest. Breakfast lunch or dinner, you will always find a good meal at the Soda Shoppe in Downtown Laconia. Mike and his staff are always friendly and great to deal with. Though parking is tough right now (not their fault) there is ample parking around the corner. You are going to want to walk off the calories anyway. Tell them the Cobbler sent you...
1. Burned the filling to my omlet . 2. Waitress very preoccupied with other staff. I have gone to the soda shop about once a month. Never have i had such poor service.
