I frequent this restaurant and have for many years. I would like to chalk it up to my server musta been having one of those kind of days but im still shocked to say the least. Do not start off our morning with "im going to ask you not to eat ALL of the jelly, it costs us money, and youve only been here 2 minutes and youve eaten 4!" Love this place. Have been coming here for years, but recently I'm here four or more times a week. I own a restaurant myself and have ZERO interest in cooking at home, especially in this heat! I cannot say I have ever had a bad meal here, and I've eaten here a lot. The food is great, a lot of it is homemade, they have the best corn chowder, cheeseburger soup, French toast and omelettes. I'm not one to leave bad reviews ever, but I went here for the 1st time a couple weeks ago and was not too impressed which stinks because the place is adorable. :/ I think we must have hit a wrong day because they seemed very understaffed and we waited 40+ mins. for sandwiches. :/ My sandwich was very mediocre and quickly put together when it finally arrived. Hometown favorite. I’ve been going since I was kid and went back after a long time from home; they still have it. Great breakfasts in a relaxed, small town atmosphere. Always great food.
