This veterinary practice is far and away the best in Philadelphia. The entire team, led by Dr. Claudia Cassavecchia, has an incredibly high level of skill and a depth of compassionate care that is rare. Every single person that works there is knowledgeable and committed to animals and thier humans. Nobody is just there for a paycheck. I highly recommend Society Hill Veterinary Hospital.
Dr C is the best
SHVH gives the best care ever to my two cats. We've been going there for over 16 years and I will never go anywhere else. The care is top notch and the staff knows us all by name. They even called out of the blue when Misty was sick. Honestly, I don't even get care like that from my doctors.
The staff is very accommodating and friendly. We called at 8am without previously being seen there and were promptly given a 9:30am appointment for our very sick pup. Although, the procedure she needed was out of budget for us everyone from the front desk, to techs to the vet worked very hard to find us a place that we could afford. They worked with us on a treatment plan and were more than happy to give me the exact prices of every step they were taking before doing so.
