I was there yesterday because my 13 year old dog wouldn’t stop horrible poops with blood in them for two days. I asked Dr. Cassevechia if she thought it could be cancer, and she literally placed her hand over my dog and said “ well I’m not a mind reader”. No, but you’re unprofessional and rude. I think I’m done with society hill. Oh and they charged me $640.
Every single individual at this practice is extremely professional, caring and knowledgeable. Do your pets a favor make an appointment now.

I am glad we found SHVH! Their care of our 12 year old lab, George, is outstanding. Dr Casavecchia does a wonderful job of communicating what George needs to be active in his senior years. The staff are professional and compassionate from the front check in area through the exam room and with follow up by phone, website & portal updates. Their office is well located, with ample street parking. Our pets are an integral part of the family so I am very pleased we found this wonderful practice! Thank you! Cath J.
The vets at Society Hill have taken care of my cat since he was a kitten. They've seen him through everything from a uti, neutering, dental issues, and congestive heart failure. In fact, the only time we ever took him to another vet was for a simple issue with ear mites, and he was given a steroid shot that triggered congestive heart failure. Society Hill diagnosed him and has maintained his condition with medication for seven years. They may charge more than the average vet, but it's worth it in the long run. I will never g... read more
