Helpful & friendly staff (Emily!) and it was great to have products to use, towels, a raised tub for my dogs; basically great and I'll be a repeat customer.

My dogs would probably give this place a low rating, but no visit to Asheville is complete without a stop off at BATH followed by breakfast at the Clingman Cafe.
I called about taking my dog here while we are on vacation in the area and the lady on the phone was extremely rude and was determined not to have my dog stay there. She even went as far as giving me numbers of other daycares in the area! Thank goodness I found a place happy to a vacationing pup stay!
Staff was amazing. Helpful and knowledgeable. We will be back!
We have two scottie puppies and one was turned away from a groomer and all I was told was,"she freaked out and wouldn't let me touch her". I took her to Ronnie at The Soapy Dog and she came out looking beautiful. Ronnie said she needed to learn how to be groomed and Ronnie took the time and was very patient with her. I should have gone to The Soapy Dog first. What a wonderful experience for both myself and my dog!
We found The Soapy Dog in 2012 while in Asheville building our new business, Asheville Salt Cave. We Were here living in Weaverville and working in Asheville 7 days a week and Einstein, our Yorkie, needed a booming. Word of mouth brought us to the Soapy Dog and when I saw they also had facilities for us to bathe him between grooming and the incredible job that was done, I knew Einstein found his home away from home. Great place! Just boarded our 2 large dogs there for a week and I'm fairly certain Burford is moping around the house today missing all his new friends! The staff seemed to really know our dogs and appreciate their needs especially with our 15 year old Shepard. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place with caring staff to look after their fur babies!
Amazing doggone good staff. Our fur babies love the place, and so do we!
