About this business
Snow Farm Vineyard began as a dream on the West Shore of South Hero, Vermont. In an effort to preserve Vermont's agricultural land in the face of rapid development by providing an alternative for farmers, grapes were planted in the fields. Our location, on an island in the middle of Lake Champlain permits us to grow cooler climate vinifera grapes, Pinot Noir and Riesling, as well as the more cold hardy French Hybrids, Vidal Blanc and Baco Noir. their hospitality is what keeps people coming back. accommodating when we asked if we could use their sun room to have our lunch with our glass of wine. we've made this our vineyard to come to when on vacation.
Lovely area. We enjoyed our wine tasting at the bar. The young lady who attended to us was very friendly and knowledgeable. Made it home with several bottles. 😁🍷
The Naked Mermaid wine is one of my favorites.
