Snow Farm Vineyard began as a dream on the West Shore of South Hero, Vermont. In an effort to preserve Vermont's agricultural land in the face of rapid development by providing an alternative for farmers, grapes were planted in the fields. Our location, on an island in the middle of Lake Champlain permits us to grow cooler climate vinifera grapes, Pinot Noir and Riesling, as well as the more cold hardy French Hybrids, Vidal Blanc and Baco Noir. Great selection for wine tasting. Beautiful views of the vineyard.
We had the best time! We got to try samples of a bunch of their white wines. My favorite were the snow white and the mermaid! Beautiful vineyard with kind staff. Can’t wait to visit again.
An absolutely lovely spot to relax and sip some tasty wines. Very reasonable price to sample 4 or 8 varieties. Surprisingly quick service given the number of people there and covid restrictions. Dog friendly too. Everyone was quite relaxed!
Family wedding was held at Snow Farm today. Not only were the Lane’s extremely professional, but they helped make it a special and memorable day for the Bride and Groom. The outdoor tent and amenities were all clean and comfortable. The bar set up was plentiful and very clean. We recommend having your events here!
Great staff and selection of wines!
The staff is super friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable on all their wines. Beautiful location and always a wonderful time listening to summer concerts sipping on wine slushies!
